Sometimes I unironically think we should kill all predators

      Anonymous

The predators are unironically the only ones capable of suffering. Prey species are automatons only capable of running away and fricking as much as they can before other prey shove them over and leave them to be dinner. If they had souls, they would fight back.

        Anonymous

They do fight back. That is why predators usually target the old, sick and weak. Predators who weren’t careful enough got stomped, gored or had its jaw broken by a kick. Cows kill more people than sharks.

They do it cuz they have no time to waste. Therrs bigger predators all around waiting to scoop in for the kill

This may all be true, but Wauf has some of the worst, most over-sensitive jannies on the site. They'll delete anything calling them out

And anything mentioning the Chinese apparently. I got a 30 day ban for posting a bear that had been partially eaten by a tiger... in a thread about predator interactions

Why are there so many many deleted posts on Wauf? It always seems to be on topic posts with people responding

        Anonymous

The third world dog rapist and leto spammer started abusing proxy services, so mods ended up on a hair trigger and now they seem to delete posts at complete random without a full IP wipe, likely due to people on dynamic IPs eventually landing on an IP once used by one of the zoo spammers and setting off some ban evasion alert.

If you ever see the ban log a lot of the bans they hand out to the zooposters are 1-3 days since they're residential proxies, which are actual IPs, usually from dynamic pools, that someone running a proxy node for a service like smartproxy temporarily holds and then discards later to minimize the amount of blocks that smartproxy users encounter. The service was designed for running scalping bots but is also used for Wauf shitposting.

          Anonymous

this + any "animal cruelty" ban is often an IP wipe even if it's something stupid like predation footage or a stray dog falling into a volcano

I'm not remotely tech savvy so this is all Greek to me. But I find this all both fascinating and disturbing...do people really jump through all these hoops just to post about fricking dogs? Talk about misplaced dedication kek.

IP wipes, say or post something you shouldn't in one thread and a mod will click a checkbox on his banhammer and all live posts on the same board for that IP address get wiped.

I'd hate to be a gazelle being chased by these dogs
    >Built for long distance running, will chase their prey until it collapses
    >They work in relay so when the front dog tires, the one behind it picks up the pace
    >Chases often end with the prey jumping into a body of water out of desperation. Will either drown, get eaten by a croc or crawl back to shore where the dogs are waiting
    >Don't even go for the neck to make a quick kill, just start ripping out its organs while it's still alive
    >80% hunt success rate, if they chase you it's basically already over

It's hard to name a large predator that doesn't do this besides humans, and humans are moronic carnivores that treat animal bodies like giant fruit.
    >inb4 big cats
No, they absolutely do eat their prey alive, usually ass first, going straight for the intestines full of yummy turds and savory liver, exactly like every other carnivore.

iirc bears don't, they like to have their victims suffer first

      >No, they absolutely do eat their prey alive, usually ass first
Depends, they’re so big a lot of their prey has the windpipe crushed or neck brown even if they weren’t really trying to kill it first. They’ll eat their prey alive, but they’re also much more likely to suffocate it first than basically any other big carnivores. If I had to guess it’s because they have shit stamina so can’t afford to let it get away

Toddler fell in animals ripped it apart before anyone could get in there in like less than 40 seconds. Probably spent half an hour trying to chase down something they could burry as "remains" instead of an empty box. I didn't read the story just like what else could possibly happen?

A dumb mother held her toddle boy up over the wild dog pit to "get a better view."
She lost her grip and fell like 15 down, bounced off a net for item, and then like 10 dogs ate him to nothing but bone in about 2 minutes in front of horrified onlookers.
Mother tried to sue the zoo. WOMAN MOMENT.

I've read the most insane attack stories, I have no clue where to source them, that was years ago, but the shit stayed with me.
      > Hyena walks into tourist camp, into tent where someone is sleeping, eats their *head* because your cranium is like a fricking apple to them, leaves.
      > Dude comes across a bunch of hyenas in the wild, run back to his car, starts it, the hyenas bite out the tires then the fricking door itself and eats the dude inside his car.
      > that story holy frick.
