Look familiar? This is what the original Bull and Terriers looked like.

I cracked the code about Bull-Type Terriers. The Whippet was used in the foundation stock. They are in the same breed family as Greyhounds (known for being muzzled around other dogs)

Here OP, look how absolutely dog aggressive whippets are! These are a few of mine mixed with the dogs of friends. You can not do this with pitbulls generally because they will likely rip each other apart. All these whippets do fine with other dogs outside too, no need to muzzle them. Whippets are known for being extremely tolerant and gentle to other dogs and people.

Seriously though, you are severely moronic if you think pitbulls started out from whippet mixes. They did not. Whipets were bred from greyhound mixed with terrier types by poor English miners. Pitbulls and staffords were bred from bullbiter dogs.

If I saw this at a shelter I might actually adopt it.

        >yeah can i get the dog known for high levels of prey drive and aggression that will attack humans for sport like, uh, mixed with the extremely athletic dog known for relentlessly pursuing quarry at high speeds?
        >i'm sure it won't hunt me or my kids for dinner or anything.
just adopt a wolf, shave it, and hit it in the face with a frying pan. same thing.

it's crazy how the pit bull genes always override the head shape.

There’s no pit that’s just what crossing Bulldogs, Whippets, and Terriers does.

greyhounds are actually muzzled because they run so fast they crack their own jaws off, not because their prey drive is so insane they will attack same-sized dogs. they WILL slaughter puppies and small dogs, the less familiar and dog like they look/smell the more likely, but only if they run away from them. they're actually one of the safest dogs to have around children because the way their prey drive has been honed is so specific that if it's not an animal it won't do it for them. they are the oldest breeds that have been purposefully domesticated the longest, as far as we know. their temperament is strikingly similar to sled dogs which may be as old (dogs were initially domesticated in siberia) and sighthounds just being hot weather huskies with more reduced brains makes perfect sense. arabs hate it when dogs get uppity.

True, yet they were used alongside Bulldogs and Terriers.

pit bull makes no sense, bully makes even less sense, bull-type makes the most sense.

Colloid is consistent with angloid and huskoid. If we said collie type, we would also have to say husky type and tea drinking type.

          I prefer sledding-type over husky-type. But husky is a sub-type of a sledding spitz.

It's a bit exhausting but I like the complexity.

Huskies are the representative of all sledding-types, so they are all spitz types and huskoids, colloids, cryptocurrency scamoids, etc, are subgroups of spitz.
