No, I'm on good terms with my house centipedes

No. They creep me the frick out and I'm glad I only briefly lived in a place with them, but unless its roaches or ants in my place I don't bother bugs unless they violate the NAP.

    Never seen a living one.
Pretty sure they don't stand a chance in my house with all my spiders. Steatoda don't frick around

We don't have them where I live, I literally don't know if they would trigger a fear response if I saw one.
    Spiders freak me out though.

90% of its brain must be dedicated to leg management. So glad we dont have them, but probably wouldnt kill. There are gnarly spiders here that I see wherever when I go to pee at night, but I allow it

I barely see one once a year, they're extremely rare at my place so I don't touch them.

I picked them up and released outside. Then I put foam under the door and they stopped appearing but I realized later that I should have kept one as a pet and release it when I leave the house for at least a week so they kill any roaches that might be here. Anyway it seems like I have no roaches so they aren't really needed also I don't want them eating my spider friends. I release outside spiders who walk over me but if the spider is the kind that stay chill in the corner or those cute tiny jumping spiders I just let them be.

No, I never kill those, and am no longer afraid to handle them. If they let me, I might pick them up if they're running nearby on the carpet, but otherwise just let them have the run of the house. I rescue them out of sinks or tubs as needed. I want to see more of them around, they just make me feel happy now, after I used to be creeped out by them.

You're my idol anon. What kind of process did you go through that turned you from being creeped out to feeling happy when you see them?

Normally they scurry when they see movement.
My question is, do they see infrared light? Does anyone know?

My house used to have tons of them, but recently they've all but disapeared, so I'm getting concerned about more pests appearing now.

I put them outside if they're walking around where I can see them. I'm sure they will find their way back inside but maybe they'll learn to hide better.

I try not to kill anything unless it's going to cause harm in some way or I'm planning on eating it. I don't eat those guys, they don't hurt anyone and don't damage my stuff, so they can stay.

I had no kill policy against these guys, heard they were useful. They repaid me by sending one of their own on a strike mission against my face at 1am while I was in bed sleeping. Since then, it's been zero tolerance
