they look like they are supposed to live in the sand, like egypt or mexico, not in the snow

Consider a dog that's missing half it's teeth, and produces a half dead litter if breed to another furless? No, If I wanted a hairless hound, I'd get an American hairless X Saluki hybrid.

i thought it was a 3,000-year-old breed, not a modern experiment to get furless dogs, as far as i know they are healthy and don't have common health issues, not weird mutants?
      >The Xolo has been developed by natural selection for thousands of years, and is therefore generally not prone to health and structure problems as other dog breeds more modified by human selection efforts. Xolos came from tropical climates and are not suited for outdoor life in colder temperate and northern climates; they should be considered an indoor dog breed.[failed verification] They need bathing, light grooming and skin care as with other dogs of similar physical type, or acne can result. Most skin problems arise from poor breeding, neglect, or over-bathing and over-lotioning, stripping natural protections and clogging pores.[19][20]

They have the same DNA for furlessness as Chinese crested. The American hairless is unironically more healthy because they can eat a food meal without dentures.

a squinkly (I don't know how to spell the word it's a native word)
I love these guys so much
I'm surprised mexicans keep dogs like pitbulls when they have such a great native breed. But I see that shit more often in the north. Poor bastardized northerners, their brain rot has lead them to hell. Completely different race than us Southern Mexicans. We don't have that brain rot.
one of the only few existing native american dogs breed
when you walk around Mexico you'll see tons of strays that are mutts of european breeds
Sometimes I have seen the coated kind, but they are hard to recognize compared to the iconic hairless variety
With that hairless tar black skin you'd think they are a hell hound, but they are rather quite sweet.
Sweeter than any germ shitturd, shitbull, rottenweiler, and other deviant breeds americans like to keep.

what's the area where they chainsaw people alive? is it too much Aztec blood in the population or any other theories?

It's arguably the opposite, the areas with the most native american blood are extremely poor but much less violent, the ones with the most european admixture are more well-developed but are also cartel country where all the fricked up shit happens

it's hard to tell without knowing the exact mix, there were some natives there were peaceful and enslaved to the Aztecs, maybe the whiter areas still have more Aztec admixture somehow, and the more native areas are from different more pacific native peoples?

            Anonymous

The natives enslaved by the Aztecs were NOT peaceful in any definition of the word, their cultures were more or less identical to that of the Aztecs themselves, literally every single mexican indigenous group practiced human sacrifice and the lot, not a single exception. And no, Aztec admixture in Northern Mexico isn't really likely if anything blood from the peoples that helped the spaniards take them out is more common there.

unlikely they would let themselves be turned into cattle if they were warrior caste like the Aztecs, they would first die rather than take it, maybe they did some "trickle-down" human sacrifice from seeing the Aztecs do it

You idiot, the Spanish didn't bring women with them.
It wasn't the dead Aztec men that made Mestizos, it was the conquered women that gave birth to mestizos.
Also many natives are crazy savage people. One killed my great grandfather out of an act of senseless savage violence.

They weren't "tribes", the peoples who helped the spanish conquer the Aztecs lived in cities, built pyramids, practiced human sacrifice and generally had nearly identical cultures to the Aztecs, pic related was the city of the first native states who pledged alliance to Hernan Cortez

I was going to get a Xolo around 2016 as our dog died in 2015. The AKC added the once mighty Xolo to their list in 2011 which led to moronic Anglo-centric breeding.
This selective breeding was kicked into overdrive in 2017 due to the Disney movie Coco and now we get toothless abominations akin to the dysgenic applehead Chihuahua.

The natives enslaved by the Aztecs were NOT peaceful in any definition of the word, their cultures were more or less identical to that of the Aztecs themselves, literally every single mexican indigenous group practiced human sacrifice and the lot, not a single exception. Most Nahua tribes did indeed act like Aztecs. The main difference is Aztecs took the brutality to 11/10 alongside an ever expanding empire. Other Nahuas got so annoyed they sided with invaders to frick over the Aztecs so they can tone down the brutality.

Pic is may not be a Xolo. I think it's a now extince relative of a Xolo used for meat. Xolos were revered and spiritually important. So much so the God of death and deformities is Xolotl, a sort of man-dog-demon guy.

      >one of the only few existing native american dogs breed
eh not really. Basically all of the dogs that are found in the new continents are almost entirely of european stock with a few exceptions such as the malamutes of the northern tundra and the georgian wild dog (for some reason). The reason for that is the same reason why native populations cratered after the eurogays discovered the continent, disease. European dog diseases destroyed the old world dog populations which were genetically distinct from their european bretheren but lacked the defenses against the diseases that those dogs brought over. All of these "old world" dog breeds you see in the modern day including the escuincle are just new world dogs bred to be like those extinct old world dog lineages.
The only ones left are the Malamutes which are almost entirely old world dogs with very little admixture from european lineages (due to their isolation they never got wiped out from the southern diseases). The Georgian Wild dog is also mostly old world dog in terms of its genetics but it does have a lot of new world dog dna just due to feral dogs joining packs. The chihuahua is in third place with something like 1-5% of it's genes being from it's old world dog ancestry and that's probably due to them living in deserts which would have partially isolated them from the worst of the plague. That's about it though.

People in Mexico don't keep xolos because they are expensive as all fricking hell, and that's because they aren't the actual Xoloitzcuintli that the aztecs had, these ones are engineered breeds like pugs or bull terriers.

Mexico also has a big problem with abandoned dogs so a lot of people prefer to just pick up mutts from the street.

All native dogs from the Americas are extinct. If you look at a "native" dog's genetics they have about 1% native in them.
