Can Anyone help me ID this beetle?

We got this beetle from a friend when it was a grub. It just pupated and it's not what we thought it was gonna be.

Well, what did you think it was going to be?
And is it a female of that species and not the cool male version with horns like you wanted (?)

We at first thought Male Hercules, then no horns so we knew female. But then it came out and it's a different color pattern. So idk

Hercules beetles have different subspecies, some are darker. Did you possibly dig it out early? After emerging from their pupa, they can still stay days or weeks in their pupal chamber to harden the body and color out. The elytra of yours kinda look like they aren't completely finished yet.

At the end of this video you can see a fresh one with light brown elytra and a fully colored one with yellow.

Colors are lighter when they first emerge, like when insects molt and the carapice hasn't hardened yet.
Did you take the photo in like the first hour?
I'm willing to bet it will darken up in a day or two.

Ohhh okay okay. Yeah the pic is from when it came out, like 5 min after. (I told my partner that they shouldn't handle it right away as it may be vulnerable)

you need to put it on a magnetic track that loops that way it it at least contained if it decides to accelerate
