Are pitbulls a good source of food?

Hey bros I’ve been trying to save money while on my keto diet but the last few weeks have been draining my wallet.

I looked it up and most pitbulls are around 65 lbs. Using the same formula for calculating venison on a deer, about 33% of its total weight being meat, I should be able to get 21 lbs of meat off of one pitbull. Most adoption places charge like $50 at most in my area for them. That’s about $2.30 per lb of meat. That’s way cheaper than chicken, pork, beef.

It’s legal in my state. Should I try this bros? What are the dangers?

That’s fricking genius holy shit and you can get them free sometimes too if their old owners just can’t handle them

    Aren't chicken thighs often $0.99 a pound?

Chicken can be cheap but the price is deceiving because of bones. I explained my deer formula in the OP. 33% of its weight is in flesh once you discount skin, bone, organs, etc. The cheapest whole Chicken is about on par with a $50 pitbull. But buying chicken doesn’t have the added bonus of purging a pitbull from this world.

Again, chicken breast and pork tenderloin both cheaper than the formula you used for less work

$50 is the maximum price for a pitbull, so calculating worse case scenario. There are several large pitbulls on Craigslist in my area for free (they need a kind owner with no children or small pets).

Not cheaper, more work. You haven't disputed the point

It takes me 10 minutes max to field dress a deer so I have no clue what you’re talking about when you say work. It isn’t hard to skin and gut an animal when you know what you’re doing, have you done it before?

    Why no breed bunnies?
    Or chicken?

Either way pitbulls are mostly adopted to be agressive so no ones gonna miss the dogs but the owners themselves

I know this is a joke but you’d firstly only be able to do it once if you’re buying/adopting it, if it’s stray you’ll probably die from all the shit it’s eaten. Even if it’s adopted you’ll probably die. Dogs are filled with disease and disgust, while I don’t really like dogs that’s why I’ll never eat one. They’re filthy. Plus it isn’t really cheaper lol.

Plus it’s super easy to get caught doing it most places require check ups on adopted dogs and records of veterinary appointments and shots. Since you killed it you wouldn’t have any of those and you can’t even say you lost it/it got killed by something else since you would’ve had to report that too.

Does this check out? Dogs eat literal shit, but we pump chickens and cows up with chemicals, and we eat pigs and they're pretty dirty. I find it very hard to believe dogs are much worse disease-carriers than anything else.

just raise rabbits instead if you have the space for pitbulls you def have the space for some rabbits

No it isn't. I live in a liberal hellhole where shit has skyrocketed and I can still get chicken breast for $1.99/lb and about the same for pork tenderloin and I dont have to butcher it myself

    OP are you for real?
Pitbulls aren't fed food that makes them nutritious, they're not as good as real food. Also you try killing it lmao. Adopting dogs to kill them is illegal, and buying them for the same reason is probably also illegal. You can't eat the whole dog and you probably won't eat everything you can eat.
Also you won't even get past pulling a knife on it, you sound like a pussy who overthinks

OP here, brother I grew up on a ranch and hunted deer and raccoons my whole life. I had to put down my dying hound dog when I was younger and it hurt like all fricking hell. But I’ve never issues putting down a stray pitbull that breaks into my property trying to slaughter my chickens. I have no sympathy for those things.

There is no law on the books federal or state that says I can’t eat a dog. They tried passing one in 2018 but it failed in the senate. This post is obviously made with humor but I started to legitimately think about it as an option. All men should do this, it would cull the shitbull population

Endlessly based. Consume the flesh of the demon dog to get its strength. This is the way, anon

Ate dog in Korea. I hate dogs so I very much enjoyed it. However, I don't think I'd ever be able to cook a decent dog meat meal myself. Make sure to google recipes and follow everything down to a T

Holy frick, I live in Texas where people think having pitbulls makes them tough. This would be the best thing ever, if people just started abducting and eating their dogs. Please let this become a thing.

Stipulation: don't abduct any puppies or skinny, passive pitbulls. Just kill and eat the muscular monsters.

Very based but frankly, I'd be worried what that thing has consumed in its life. The meat might be polluted by meth or something.

      >Most adoption places charge like $50 at most in my area for them.
You'll find they rapidly stop letting you "adopt" for abattoir uses...

      Also
      >I'd be worried what that thing has consumed in its life.
There's a reason we don't generally eat predators.

      >That’s way cheaper than chicken, pork, beef.
Once you account for the effort of butchering, cleaning, disposing of the leftovers, and storing the "good" stuff. You'll probably find you were better off working for a McWage and buying something pre-done.

I butcher deer all the time from hunting and it’s not at all difficult. Disposal of organs goes into my garden for fertilizer, I tan the hides if I feel like it (dog hide I wouldn’t, probably), and the bones/skull/legs I freeze until trash day then toss it so it doesn’t rot throughout the week

The problem with deer though is it costs so much to get a permit on someone’s land, all day to MAYBE catch one, fuel getting there, etc.

Incredibly based and redpilled, if it's legal you should go through with it and post proofs to be immortalised forever for your gooddeeds of cleansing the nigdog genepool whilst also saving money.
