Are Centipedes the best fighters of the bug world? I have never seen any other bug take on them in a fight.

Cormocephalus coynei is the only terrestrial invertebrate aside from maybe coconut crabs that is the apex predator of its environment, not just over other invertebrates but vertebrates too. It’s likely they kill thousands of seabirds every year

It’s an island giant and one of two giant Cormocephalus along with one from New Zealand. There’s not a lot known about them so if you look up C. coynei you’ll find a bunch of news articles from a while ago and the paper that spawned them

The majority of centipede species are not 8 inch long monstrosities

I had no idea, can you name any smaller ones?

Soil centipedes, stone centipedes, house centipedes. They're all pretty small, predatory beetles can easily bite them apart. Only centipedes belonging to Scolopendridae are the ones that get huge.

When a giant centipede meets another predatory bug of similar size like a tarantula or large scorpion it’s not even a fight, it’s predator/prey

Who wins? Are you saying the scorpion/spider would win?

        I’m saying the centipede wins

How the frick, do Beetles eat centipedes? Or is the wikipedia wrong?

Carabid beetles are pretty powerful predators themselves, but they don’t get big enough to take on a giant centipede

The Chinese would eat any centipede for lunch.

Bigger scorpions will usually win, some spiders can 50/50 but yeah, centipedes are the top tier of predatory bug. There's not much that can get them in their weight class, some even hunt lizards and small mammals and birds.

Seriously eusocialgays need to understand that it's always one-on-one.
