I moved into an apartment that came with wienerroaches a while back. I got rid of them by denying them food and shelter. I eat on a plastic tray that I spray with soapy spray and rinse afterwards. I keep opened boxes of cookies in plastic boxes and I sometimes stick a bar of soap in there so they can't smell the food.

I keep all furniture inches from the wall and have lights so that there are no dark corners. I hung my clothes outside of the closet on rails and i used my closet to store books, electronics, or canned goods on a trolley with wheels so I can easily wheel it out and clean the closet with a soapy spray with essential oil in it.

I also told my landlord about the wienerroaches and he had his pest guy set out poison...if you have dogs or children you have to be careful though.

I just moved into a new place two weeks ago and they're in my fricking dishwasher. I open it up and sometimes see one running along the crevice at the bottom. I guess it's the moisture bringing them in. I have some baits around the apartment but I'm weary of consistently spraying the areas because it's right in the kitchen where I put dishes and eating utensils
at the right end of this pic where the dishwasher closes up, that brown spec is a roach that got stuck in the hinge

I used to wake up in the morning, turn on the lights of my kitchen and seeing 20+ giant wienerroaches all over thee place, it was some nasty shit.
Bugspray is fricking useless qhat worked for me is preparing a mix of egg yolk (boil the eggs, so the yolk can turn into a sandy consistency) and baking soda. There were no wienerroaches for the time I lived there, it was like magic anon it truly works.

Release a horde of house centipedes, they make short work of wienerroaches.

Wish more people knew how helpful the house centipedes are for cleaning up infestations.

the first step is to not live in filth
then remove dark, warm, moist areas are the house
make sure your entrances are properly sealed
buy some roach spray, there should be some that have some sort of chemical barrier
if theyre in your walls youre kinda screwed and you have to buy roach coaches or roach traps so they poison the nest

you need to find and seal most of the holes theyre coming from, then place traps against the walls around the entrances to ensure theyre coming into contact with them

Had a wienerroach invasion when I lived in a flat. Nothing worked and we moved out.
We ended up learning that some dude had moved in next-door and died right away, nobody knew him so nobody looked for him and his corpse had just been rotting there for months lol
        Hence the wienerroaches

Rent a house so you dont have to live with other people's consequences anymore
What are you gonna do when the 3rd-worlder below you mixes ammonia and bleach trying to clean the toilet, or some dipshit hoarder sets your building on fire?
You're very lucky that you learned this lesson with bugs
