Any idea why people hate rabbits?

Like i get that some people think of them only as food source which is sad cause they are very cute and social pets.

I like them but I wouldn't have one as a pet. They shit everywhere.
Also, some people like them to put them in small cages for some reasons. They need space to hop around.

They shit a lot and they chew through everything.
They're also too hyper for proper training.

So what, their poop is very small and not smelly, they just want to hop around and run in zoomies.
They are just silly guys, let them be silly

        >I don't smell anything, poop all over my house is no big deal
        >Le silly rat
        Holy shit ew.

I agree with dogs but cats are completely useless and ungrateful

You actually need a dog for a cat to do anything otherwise you might as well just have dogs. Lemme pull up the pasta to end all console wars.

        https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5291527/

Compared with no domestic predators in the homestead, the GUDs of rodents were significantly higher (fewer peanuts were eaten) at homesteads with both cats and dogs (β = -1.32 [-2.44- -0.20]) (Fig 3). The predicted giving-up densities of rodents at homesteads with neither cats not dogs was 30 peanuts [15–50], whereas it was 8 peanuts [2–32] at homesteads with both cats and dogs. There was no significant difference in GUDs of rodents at homesteads with cats alone (β = -0.11 [-1.13–0.91]) or dogs alone (β = -0.24 [-1.18- -0.70]) compared with GUDs of rodents from homesteads with neither cats nor dogs. Similar to the activity models, the timing (day) of GUDs measures did not improve the fit of the model (χ2 = 0.18, DF = 6, p = 0.671).

Contrary to our prediction, the greatest impact on pest rodents was the combined presence of cats and dogs.

Not only a retarded herbivore but also poorly domesticated and not very productive
Mediocre of both worlds with only cuteness going for it, and their wild versions are pests almost on par with rodents

      But they are VERY cute.
Also most pets aren't productive, my dog and cat don't do shit all day; they play, eat, and sleep.
They do shit everywhere, even litterbox training them only mitigates the issue.
All I really expect from pets is to be cute, cuddle, and play.

As in it's cattle-tier stupid but there isn't much to farm either.

Are cats and dogs not pests?? Eating all your meat, their shit so smelly

WILD ones, everyone thinks wolves or lions are cool but wild rabbits are only known for chewing your cabbages

If you live in an apartment your pets aren’t productive and you shouldn’t have dogs and cats anyways

Even in a suburb they take care of pests. My dog even chases off unfamiliar cats.

No. Cats in combination with dogs significantly reduce rodent activity and dogs deter larger animals while helping hunt game and manage livestock. Dog owners live longer and neighborhoods with more dogs have lower crime rates regardless of demographics.

Rabbits just eat grass and die. They’re a womans pet for sure.

            >brings up aggressive, manly, and huge dicks unprompted
Yeah so tell us why you REALLY have a PSYCHOTIC need not to have a dog or any pet you could fuck I guess? It's because you'd fuck your pets right?

Most good dogs are totally non aggressive, medium sized, girly, and female. the females are smarter and easier to keep clean. Males can be too uncontrollable and take longer to learn more complex manners.

My pet needs to have some use besides being eaten. Basically any half decent dog can hunt in a pinch although if it's not a bred and trained gun/catch dog that leaves the final kill to the human, it may not be entirely legal in methods and the game may not be in season (who cares, i bait deer with salt licks). Cats work together with the dogs as a major pest deterrent. Even basic pest control is a use. Where on earth isn't plagued by rats, mice, rabbits, house sparrows, etc? Rabbits, unfortunately, are one of the pests.

You could say feral cats are pests. That's true. Feral dogs are pests. That's true. Feral humans are also pests. But rabbits really can't be anything useful besides a pest unless you consider the disposable emotional support animal of someone like (you) a useful animal. We give them to mentally ill children because if they die it's just a fucking rabbit.

They are often pretty dirty as they often mess up their enclosure and some of them are loud.
    I like them tho.

Doesn't like them too much but everyone elseI know loves them or owns one, which is ironic because they're all fine with eating seperately bought rabbit meat and I'm not with anything rabbit as much as possible
