        Pathetic.

        >There's no rats in alberta
What a joke, there are, they just constantly exterminate them with subdivized programs because they think that's a good image. Really it shows how weak english canadians are at controlling their environments. And their propaganda, rats keep coming back and they are constantly declared, albertans constantly kvetch online to say they are rat-free but they never consider themselves being the rats and the fact that rats will flock to their shitty province anytime. But hey, anglos pretending shit is real while its a false lie and pretense ain't gonna stop them, its their modus operandi.

      White people "exploiting African animals":
      >go to a private game farm which breeds animals or buys them from breeders
      >pay an obscene amount of money both to the farm owner and to the govt
      >kill a bunch of dirt common animals or 1 carefully selected endangered animal that's probably sick or old anyway
      >if they do dumb shit and don't follow this protocol they will have the wrath of the whole world descend on them (see Cecil the lion)
      Chinks exploiting African animals:
      >pay blacks to break into national parks
      >said darkies just genocide everything
      >saw living rhinos' faces off and blast elephants with machine guns
      >steal baby animals or kill mothers with young offspring which then die too
      >kill park rangers and their families for good measure
These are not the same. Maybe 50-100 years ago they were, but not now.

I just didn't want to say the obvious, but thanks for clarifying that it's all the Chinese's fault.

African nations need to legalize animal farming for this reason, just farm rhinos and sell the horns without killing them. Like yes, domesticated animals are not the same, but it is better than them dying off.

South africa fag here, it's legal to breed pretty much anything. The issue with rhino horn and ivory is that it takes so much time and resources to produce that farming it is simply not sustainable. If you did so it would still be a ridiculously expensive luxury product which would continue to fuel the demand and inevitably result in the killing of more wild animals.
Nowadays they just catch wild rhinos en masse and cut their horns off in a way that doesn't kill the animal, the horns are then destroyed. Chink poaching is such a huge problem that retards break into museums and steal the horns from the taxidermied rhinos. There have been plans to flood and crash the market with either cheap shit synthetic horn or horn that's tainted with dyes and other chemicals, but all of them ended up being a waste of money.

Lions are the saddest, these beasts used to be used by Romans as a form of execution, sad those days are gone, I also like how they skirted around Arabia and never ventured into the interior, too sandy I guess kek

Based, the Ivory trade itself is pretty much reliant on Chinese millionaires wanting elaborate statues and shit made out of the stuff, blacks will literally risk life imprisonment killing the elephant and carrying the tusks for something like 20 dollars in return lmao, sad but you can’t help but laugh at the situation too

Trophy hunters pay enormous amounts to the wildlife conservations that keep stocks of these animals, genius. Their interest in taking trophies has done more to maintain those populations than anything you or pretty much anyone else bitching about trophy hunting have.

It's dubious at best. Most trophy hunting money doesn't go back into wild animal/habitat preservation. A lot of the "old, sick" endangered animals they hunt aren't judged so by an educated, conservation aligned biologist-- Ubuntu sells the white man that this rhino is no good for the environment and they eat it up because they don't know shit about rhinos and want a viable excuse. How many non-corrupt biologists down there are willing to research the animal populations and argue anyways?
The whole thing is corrupt as fuck. Same thing has happened with many of those wild gorilla encounter destinations, they're run by corrupt game wardens who play both sides and sell locations to poachers on the back end. It's no wonder Dian Fossey grew to despise Africans the more time she spent down there, before being murdered by her fellow "biologists".

    >cheetahs used to roam the entire Arabian peninsula
it's almost like the current range takes into account viable habitats and the historic range is quick and dirty guesswork

even if you dont account for very old viable habitats and just go back 100 or so years, african grasslands are shrinking pretty rapidly as they balloon in population, theres not much viable farmland they can expand into

it would be very easy to do the work though, why does it have to be guesswork?
all you need is every reference to these animals in history
