Adopted cat pissing on bed

Lots of doomposting on the archive, please tell me picrel is not true.
7 y/o adopted female cat. Doesn't hiss, playful, pissed and shat in box fine for first 3 months. Last week it pissed in two different beds 4 times total. Puddles were kinda small though, she definitely didn't go "all out". It stinks but doesn't "reek" (yet). Not declawed, or spayed, vaxxed or whatever the frick. "Natural" cat.
Is it over? Point of no return? She's a good kot otherwise, sleeps by my feet every night. What do?

homie, dogs literally shit/piss wherever the frick they want unless you train them and even then it takes months and sometimes that's not enough, eat their own shit and then lick your face afterwards, also grovel in mud and then walk all over your furniture

cats use litter boxes instinctively, clean themselves with their own saliva and would never get themselves covered in mud like your canine savages, also cats can't just maul you if they are in a bad mood (like shitbulls and other big dogs)

        >cats don't just maul you if they're in a bad mood
Have you ever met a cat? They're the most randomly violent pet and literally notorious for being grumpy animals that attack their owners. It's so common that it's a well known joke kek catgays having a normal one

yeah my bad I meant "kill" or "maul to death"

Also forgot to say cats keep vermins like rats and roaches away which is a pretty good upsite to having a cat. also no loud barking and pestering you to play all day because cats (atleast adult cats) are attention seeking losers

Definitely spay your cat first otherwise she will never stop marking/spraying.

    >This advice below is only valid if you already spayed your cat

Make sure their litterbox is always clean, clean it 2 times per day at least or buy an automatic litter box if you are too lazy.
I use this one because I hate scooping and it's cheap, (it's not automatic though just makes it easier to clean, automatic litter boxes are way too expensive...)
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N4KIKOM

Try with different type of litter because the one you're using might be hurting her paws or maybe a different litterbox altogether you can also try also changing its location or having more than 1.

Also clean your stained sheet and clothes with an enzyme cleaner like this or she will do it again no matter what, cat urine smell never goes away otherwise not even joking.
    https://www.amazon.com/Natures-Miracle-Laundry-Boost-Ounces/dp/B08B9SJ481

otherwise she might just be upset about something else like maybe you aren't giving her enough play time or she doesn't like the food or whatever they can be petty like that and just pee your stuff out of spite but I feel like this is rarely the case. it's almost always litter box related.

    No, that user is trolling.
Cats have moods and think about things just like small children do. If a cat pisses on a pile of clothes or whatever, then there is usually a good reason.

I used to have a maine coon that pissed on my bed because she was dying of renal kidney failure. I also used to have a tabby which kept pissing in my laundry room because she would get upset if I was away from home for long periods.
    >Not declawed, or spayed, vaxxed or whatever the frick
Unfixed cats spray more often than those that are fixed, especially males. If you're not cleaning out the litterbox every day then that can also be a problem.

I'm the one who wrote that and if you read the rest of that thread, you'll see the culprit is likely the litter box. Every time I've seen this happen, it was an owner that:

    - Used clay litter
    - Didn't clean their cat's litter box very often

I think it's a combination of dirty and course litter the cats just get sick of. I always use non-clay litter whenever possible and I clean the litter daily.

We had an older cat that started shitting on the couch or a bed like once a day. I wasnt part of the decision but my mom opted to pit her down, she was like 14. It was just pooping though. We had another cat that while he was young would piss on something random like a bean bag chair or if you didn't let him outside. He stopped at some point

The problem is, vets are like doctors. They're more often wrong than not and eventually you're on your own to fix the problem yourself.

This IS normal with an older cat. Just like with older animals of every species, it gets harder for them to control their bodily functions and get to where they want to be to shit or piss on time.

          >Bro this is normal cat behavior?
Mines a male so he pisses and fards all over a pile of clothes in the laundry room when i leave them down there. Like I said if its cold and he is being a little homosexual and wont go out then oh well they are going in the washer anyway. Maybe 2-3 times a month though.

Might sound gay but do you tihnk your cat is mad at you? Sometimes he'll look me dead in the eye and howl as he does it

This is 100% a you issue. You didn't neuter your cat and you let it outside. Then you wonder why it's not acting like a pet.

          >do you tihnk your cat is mad at you?
Nah, she just does these custom meow's (she doesn't meow that way to anyone else) whenever she wants attention/cuddles/play. If it's higher pitched I know she wants food. Tonight was the 4th time she peed the bed, I caught her doing it and promptly proceeded to stuff her nose into it. Aftermath - she ignored me for about 2-3 hours, then came back for the cuddles again... Now I feel bad about it kek. Adorable cat, wouldn't wanna have to give her away, if I don't have to. Maybe the punishment will be the end of this whole thing, but I got a bad feeling.

            >I caught her doing it and promptly proceeded to stuff her nose into it.
Good job homosexual, now she thinks peeing = punishment so she'll just pee in better hidden areas. Never punish cats for natural behaviour even if they're done wrongly. You need to give her treats and rewards for when she uses the litterbox.

I find if I haven't kept the box clean my kot gets mad at me, she didn't pee anywhere but yowled at me and pawed at my legs (claws hidden) which prompted me to go through the general kot debug algorithm:

            >Does she want play?
            >Is the water clean?
            >Is the litterbox clean?
            >Does she want out?
            >Are there gangstalkers outside the windows she watches over?
            >Follow her in hopes she'll lead me to the problem.

Usually it's the box. Depending on her mood sometimes she refuses to use the box if it's just got 2 clumps of wee in. Once I scoop it out she'll proceed to dig in and poo while making semi-closed comfy eye-contact with me.

            >Tonight was the 4th time she peed the bed, I caught her doing it and promptly proceeded to stuff her nose into it.
Never had any luck with this. Just gets them to form a grudge and then try to be more sneaky when they do it next time

Do the usual and check for possible reasons:
        - Pain (UTI, congestion, uterus shit, ...)
        - Stress (weird noises, smells or vibrations, new cat next door, something new in your home or daily routine, ...)
        - Litterbox issue (litter is 'wrong' or not deep enough, the area doesn't feel safe anymore for unknown reasons, cat suddenly prefers to have one more box another litter, an open/closed box, ...)
        - It was a one time thing but you didn't use enzyme cleaner

        >Bro this is normal cat behavior?
It's one of the 'normal' cat signs that something is wrong. When a cat is stressed out or in pain peeing in weird places happens, if nothing is done about it some cats just get used to it even if the original issue disappears. Also if people don't clean good after. If it smells like a toilet cats think it is a toilet.
Stress is the worst reason because it's hard to be calm patient and loving to give the cat back security when there's cat piss/shit everywhere.
